About Me

Hi! I'm Karli, a marketing and content creation professional based out of Austin, Texas. I have always been a bit of a free spirit, and love living life to its fullest. I'm inspired by music, art, nature, other humans, my sweet dog, and... oh yeah, traveling!

I suppose you could say I've been bit by the travel bug, and I'm a little obsessed. I've traveled with my family, with my significant other, with my friends, but I think my favorite way to travel is by myself. There's a certain freedom you feel when it's just you against the world. You get to choose the destination, the activities, the budget, and the food. You get to make new friends, and get comfortable outside your comfort zone. However, one thing I noticed when I was preparing for my first solo trip overseas is that, while there are many travel blogs (hundreds... thousands!) there was no 'one stop shop' for advice, to-do lists, packing lists, and reviews for women solo travelers. I hope to fill that gap with Never Stop Wandering.

Once upon a time it was rare, even taboo for women to travel without a partner or male to watch out for them. I know if my mother had been alive when I took my first solo trip to SouthEast Asia she would have had a cow. As time goes on, however, more and more women are embarking on journeys by themselves.

While I hope the information found here will be helpful for everyone, it's aimed first and foremost for women who are embarking on a journey by themselves. I'd like to provide my experiences and advice to help make the process easier, from what to do, where to go, what's safe, what to bring, and more! So take a look around, enjoy, and NEVER STOP WANDERING!
